Hilde Hauan Johnsen - Scenographer and costume designer
Hilde Hauan Johnsen is from Tromsø. She went to art schools in Canada and Denmark are educated as both a visual artist and scenographer. After ten years abroad, she returned to Tromsø where she has worked with the visual arts as exhibitions and art for public spaces, as well as scenography for NRK, ballet- and theatre groups, Hålogaland Teater and other regional theatres. Hilde has been a professor of art at the Bergen National Academy of the Arts since 2004. And over the past year, she has also taught at the Sami College in Kautokeino. She commutes between Bergen and Tromsø. At the moment Hilde works with large fiber optic sound installations for public space and The Stitch Project, which is an art project with 7 international artists involved. It will feature in Riddu Riddu July 2016.
